Aviation has a home in Addison.

Addison Pilot Shop began in 1986 as Lone Star Pilot Shop. Today, this veteran- and woman-owned family business has three generations involved in serving the aviation community.

Brenda has worked here since January 2004. Before joining the shop, she served as a U.S. Army helicopter mechanic. Her practical perspective comes from that mechanical background, conversations with manufacturers, and years of listening to customers.

Students are welcome to bring an instructor’s list and questions. Instructors and flight schools can ask about learning materials; professional pilots, aircraft owners, aviation families, and enthusiasts can talk with us about gear, fit, and product details. At the store, visitors can see and compare products in person and ask for personal help. Instructors determine training requirements, and manufacturer documentation is the source for exact product specifications.
