Starting Flight Training? Start with the Questions.

Before buying flight gear, get the list for your course and training aircraft. Your instructor or flight school can confirm what is required and what can wait.
1. Which headset connector does the training aircraft use, and what should I check for compatibility?
2. Which logbook format do you recommend?
3. Which book titles, editions, and test-prep materials should I use?
4. Do you recommend paper charts or another navigation tool for this course? How can I confirm coverage and edition?
5. What bag or kneeboard size is practical for the training aircraft?
Bring your list to Addison Pilot Shop. You are welcome to look over products in person and ask questions about fit or compatibility. Call (972) 735-8710 before visiting if you have a specific item in mind. Confirm course requirements with your instructor and exact product specifications with the manufacturer.
